Styled by Jason Bolden and shot by photographer Quentin de Briey in Paris, the underwear campaign takes a page from Calvin Klein’s ads (Alexander Skarsgård, Jeremy Allen White, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Carlos Alcaraz) and invites us to “immerse ourselves in these stolen moments.”
But forget the language in the press release: 33-year-old Zakhar Perez may very well be “open-minded and forward-thinking”; he may very well “embody values dear to the brand, such as generosity, respect for others and boldness.” What matters here –what sells– is his six-pack and yes… that bulge. “Oh my god this is SIN, he looks so good,” writes someone on YouTube. Thank you, Taylor; thank you, Lacoste.
