23-year-old Tyler is a college student from Queens, finishing up a degree in exercise science. “I love getting time in the gym, when I’m not in school. Four times a week, five –if I’m lucky,” he says. “I also keep up with my training, wrestling at my old high school (…) I love Italian food and folk music. Hercules is my favorite movie –the Disney version, of course.”
Photographer Michael A. Downs captures Tyler’s golden youth, as he always does with the adonises he’s been showcasing on AllAmericanGuys since 2003. “I aim to capture a certain masculine aesthetic and expression;” explains Downs in a Playgirl interview. “An athletic vibe or a moment that stands out with the physique and face being the protagonist.”
