Broadway Bares: Glitter and Be Gay

Behind the scenes with the hot men of Broadway.

Broadway Bares is back, with a dazzling Las Vegas theme. More than 150 of New York’s finest (and sexiest) dancers will take the stage on June 23rd at Hammerstein Ballroom. No better way to launch into NYC Pride Week than this annual striptease spectacular, first presented in 1992 by Jerry Mitchell and the company of The Will Rogers Follies.

While we have to wait till Sunday 23rd to savor the larger-than-life numbers, Playgirl was given an exclusive sneak peek at some of the wildest, most outlandish costumes… and four of the hottest cast members. Join photographer Eric T. White, creative director Mickey Boardman, costume designers AC Gottlieb and James Nguyen and dancers Aydin Eyikan (currently in Wicked), Jimin Moon (Lempicka), Matthew Varvar (Water for Elephants) and Konnor Kelly (featured in the Tony Awards broadcast), all making their Broadway Bares debut this year, all crammed into a posh fitting room, all game. We know you’ll have as much fun with White’s photos as these dancers had getting in and OUT of their costumes.

Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS, the charity burlesque brought in $1,887,014 in 2023. Buy your tickets for Broadway Bares today and help the show set a new record.
