“You gotta get to Hawaii.” It had become PLAYGIRL shutterbug Robert Cunningham’s mantra. So much so, that we basically arranged this trip to shut him up. The truth however is that we are mighty glad we did. Just look who we found lei-ing around…
Norby
A blushing beach boy from the state capital of Honolulu, 24-year-old Norby Flores is hoping to catch more than the perfect wave. “I’d love to find a woman who wants to join me for fun in the sun,” the 5’ 11”, 175-pound honey admits. But he’s in no hurry to settle down yet. “I guess you could say I’m still sowing my wild oats,” he says. “So, I want to experience –and enjoy– as much as possible.” When he’s gotta do it (the work thing, that is), Norby buries his big brown eyes in law books; he’s a paralegal at a downtown law firm.
Billy
With his smoldering eyes and thick dark hair, Billy Martino could easily pass for a local beach bum or excellent surfer dude, but behind the 6’ 2” brawn is a brainy entrepreneur with a wild spirit and lifestyle to match. Billy came to Hawaii from Chicago, looking for “babes in the sun.” But push him further and he proudly admits that he designs surfboards and sells these custom-made beauties to a select clientele on the Isle of Oahu. The rewards of his efforts are evident, as the 26-year-old tools around the town in a black 1992 Porsche Carrera. Then again there are probably a few rewards in store for the lucky female who captures this wild man’s heart. “I’m looking for a woman who is half Hawaiian and half Swedish –she’ll have a tan and blonde hair!” grins the 190-pound designer. “And I’ll be sure to take her on a personal tour of Hawaii’s beautiful waterfalls. They are a wonderful place to act out your fantasies.”
