Playgirl+ Man of the Year: Ben

The votes are in: 29-year-old Ben (October 2025) is PlaygirlPlus’ Man of the Year: more tattoos, same piercing blue eyes. Fans readily agree: “Beauty on the inside and the outside.” The “outside” is self-evident. We wanted to know more about the “inside” and so we checked out his podcast, SpiritualFxckboy: It is “an ode to play, curiosity, and liberation,” Ben writes on YouTube. “This podcast fucks around with a diverse array of belief systems, ideologies, and unique human expressions in order to arrive at a deeper sense of understanding about the nature of existence, emancipation from unnecessary suffering, and direct connection with divinity.”

How did “SpiritualFxckboy” come about?

“Because I’ve been hella spiritual for my whole adult life,” Ben tells Playgirl. “But I also like to fuck. That’s what my friend Mars said. She came on my podcast… Mars come say hi.”

Are you a spiritual fuck girl? we ask her.

“Yeah, I’m the sacred slut. He’s the spiritual fuckboy.” (*Ben and Mars start making out*)

“She came on the podcast and she has this story about marrying a Lebanese prince in Thailand, getting tied up by him and having to get escorted out of the country. I wanted her to tell the story and she’s like, I’ll only tell that story on the podcast if you name it Spiritual Fuckboy.”

Mars objects: “No, the girls were getting mad at you because you were being a fuckboy and I was like you gotta claim it, so then they know not to get too involved – they gotta know what’s up.”

“Yeah exactly,” concedes Ben. “But also it’s a joke. So, it’s like I’m going about spiritual teachings and then just bring it down to earth, ground it in something real –like sex, eros, you know the beauty of life and longing. Some people get the joke: some people love it, some people hate it, some people get triggered because they haven’t integrated their own fuckboy part.”

What does it mean to be named Man of the Year?

“It feels sick. It’s so unexpected, it’s like such a great validation for beauty. There’s a quote by Saint Thomas Aquinas: ‘All beauty yearns to be seen’ and I think that’s so true. I want to be seen and be recognized not just physically but like all the flavors and elements of beauty. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, I don’t think there’s anything narcissistic about that.”
