Playgirl 2025: The Year in Review

Rapper NLE Choppa and actor/model Sam Asghari were sexy bookends to 2025. Playgirl is never short of hunks (can it ever be?): We stripped down the Mister Universe contestants in February, fashion model Jhonattan Burjack in September, Chippendales in November. But we also paid tribute to Giacomo Casanova on his 300th birthday and to Christopher Atkins on the 45th anniversary of The Blue Lagoon. We brought you the AI revolution and celebrated extraordinary women like Bridget Everett and Luann de Lesseps.

Other highlights: We sat down with Broadway legend Norm Lewis and comedian Amy Sedaris; Holly Solem debuted her spicy advice column (“Ask Holly”); renowned photographer Greg Gorman returned to Playgirl, some 43 years after his iconic Atkins spread; Chord Overstreet broke the internet, revealing he shot a full-frontal pictorial back in his Glee days (but did he really?)

Playgirl is back with a vengeance. Yes, it died a couple of times (when the print magazine ceased publication), but it has been reborn and continues to blaze a path to expand minds, ignite desires and spark new fantasies. Raise your glasses and drink a toast to our global community of artists, writers, creators… and their muses.
